How do I find what percentage one number is of another?
Enter both numbers under “X is what % of Y?”. The second number cannot be zero because the calculation requires division by that value.
Can this tool calculate percentage increase and decrease?
Yes. Enter the original and new values to calculate the percentage change and see whether it is an increase, decrease or no change.
How is percentage difference calculated in this tool?
The tool divides the absolute difference between the two values by the average of their absolute values, then multiplies by 100.
Can I copy the calculated results?
